Dissecting a Home's Anatomy: Getting Down to the Bare Bones of a Home

3 Credit Hours. This course will offer a detailed breakdown of the many components and systems that are used to build a home, as well as the necessary mechanical and physical elements that are required to allow a home to function appropriately. Agents will learn about the many types of building materials that can be used to build a home, and how those materials allow a home to sustain and perform effectively.

Inspection Basics 101: Using a Property Inspection to Help Close the Deal

3 Credit Hours. This course will detail what a property inspection is, what items and components are inspected, and how the inspection report can be used by a realtor to help sale and/or buy a home. This class is designed for new agents as well as seasoned agents who may want a refresher on the basics of property inspections.

Sewer Scopes: Why & When

1 Hour. This presentation will offer an overview of what a Sewer Scope (Sewer Line Inspection) is, what the inspection entails, and when you should recommend a Sewer Scope to your buyer and/or seller.

Radon Basics 101

1 Hour. This presentation will give a synopsis of what radon gas is, how it enters buildings, and the dangers of Radon Gas Exposure. Realtors will learn that it is critical to recommend Radon Gas Testing to every client.

2 Credit Hours. Identify key aspirational concepts in the Preamble to the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Code of Ethics and describe general business ethics. Describe the professional standards process for enforcing the Code of Ethics.

3 Credit Hours. Learn to recognize the signs of discrimination in various real estate services. Focus on the Fair Housing Act will help professionals understand their rights and obligations under the law. Discussion on Article 10 relating to Fair Housing, Redlining, and Steering.
