RADON TESTING

Importance of Radon Testing:

Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas. You cannot see, smell or taste radon, but it may be a problem in your home. The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. If you smoke and your home has high radon levels, you’re at high risk for developing lung cancer. Some scientific studies of radon exposure indicate that children may be more sensitive to radon. This may be due to their higher respiration rate and their rapidly dividing cells, which may be more vulnerable to radiation damage. This is a two-day testing process. The report will be delivered in 48 hours, not including weekends.

TERMITE/WDO INSPECTION

What is a Termite/WDO Inspection?

Although commonly referred to as a "termite inspection," WDO stands for "wood-destroying organism," and a proper WDO inspection looks for evidence of infestation by termites (both subterranean and dry wood types), wood decay, wood-devouring beetles, as well as evidence of past infestations, damage to wood, or conditions conducive to infestation, and evidence of past treatments. Such organisms include termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, powderpost beetles, wood-decaying fungus, etc. The report will be delivered next day.

Sewer Line Inspection

What is a Sewer Line Inspection?

The purpose of a sewer line inspection is to determine the condition of the property's sewer line and to determine if the system is functioning as designed. A camera will be run through the sewer line from the property to the respective municipality's sewer connection. In addition to the physical condition on the sewer line, the report will also determine if there are any tree roots, obstructions, or if any animals are burrowing or nesting in the line. This test also works if the property has a septic tank. The drain lines will be inspected from the property to the connection to the septic tank. A standard scope inspection for a single- family residence takes approximately one hour to complete. The report will be delivered next day.
